I couldn’t come up with a creative name for this delicious blended drink. I tried. I even asked Michael to come up with one of his creative playful names… but his exact words were “I got nothing”. So here we are, stuck with the plain, yet accurately described title: Blueberry Coconut Pineapple Blender.
I’m still plugging away at my New Years resolution, however… it’s not really working like I intended. I hoped that I would have lost some weight by now, but that isn’t the case. Michael and I started with exercise at first. The only way we could fit it into our hectic schedule was to get up at 6:00 am every morning to work out. That lasted about a week. Then… sleep became more important.
Then I decided to focus a little harder on my diet. I’ve mentioned my intolerance to lactose before, and it’s really time that I take it seriously. I’ve made some big switches to almond milk, and I’ve cut back on carbohydrates and refined sugars. Here were are in April and still no change in my weight.
Instead of giving up, I decided to bump it up a notch. I joined a gym. Yes. It happened, and I’m stoked! I never thought that I would enjoy it as much as I do. Now… keep in mind that I’ve only gone three times, but I’m still excited about it. So that’s good.
I got a membership to Planet Fitness. It’s exciting because for only $20 a month I get unlimited 24 hour use of all equipment. I can bring 1 guest with me whenever I want, which means that my husband, kids and friends are all taking turns to motivate me to go. Now… my favorite part is the hydro-massage table. Oh my goodness! After an hour workout, it’s just what I need to relax my muscles and prevent soreness the next day.
About 30 minutes after a workout, I’m starving. In order to keep the calories down but curb the hunger, I’m replenishing my body with a quick blended drink I call blueberry coconut pineapple blender. If you have a better name for this delicious drink, please comment below and let me know!
