Minecraft has become very popular these last few years. I know my kids love it! We were just invited to a Minecraft themed double birthday party. My girlfriend’s oldest son just turned 8 and her youngest daughter turned 1.
I like to make birthday gifts as much as possible because not only does it save us money but it gives me motivation with a deadline.
It forces me to be creative and in the end I have a new pattern or craft to share with others! What I ended up making for the birthday party was a Creeper Inspired iPod 5 Case for the boy and for the little girl I made a super cute Crochet Minecraft Pig Toy.
I chose the pig because my older daughter especially loves the pigs and assured me that would be the best “character” to make for a little girl. I’m not sure why a box-shaped pig is cute… they don’t even have ears or a tail that curls out, but oh well!
