One of my art students is overwhelmingly, undeniably, wholeheartedly driven to support Uganda kids. She has a genuine heart for their well-being, and wants to do her part to give when and where she is able to! Her passion is so completely contagious, so I am on board! My amazing art student, Katelyn, wants to raise money for these kids and I say… “LETS DO IT”. I need your help to make it happen!
Katelyn, at only 12 years old, is an established local artist. Her most famous piece of work titled Colorful Cattails was on display for the entire month of August 2015 at North Bank Artist Gallery in Vancouver, Washington.
She found a great organization called AidChild Uganda. AidChild is the first organization in Uganda to provide free anti-retro-viral therapy for children living with HIV. Katelyn is working hard to develop artwork that she can sell in the Bread & With It store, and in exchange, donate the money to aidchild.org.
